The first thing is to create a menu. Organizing what you're intend to have for the week is the best thing you can do to keep from going off protocol. Knowing what I'm going to have and when I will have it is definitely one of the keys to my success on the HGC diet. Try not to "bite off more than you can chew" when it comes to planning your menu. Plan to make only 5 or 6 of your favorite recipes for each week. Then mix and match those recipes to create your meals. Yes, you're going to be repeating some of the meals during the week, however since they are your favorites, you shouldn't mind. Use a shopping list to help you to get in and out of the grocery store swiftly.
Next, wash, chop or slice your fruit and vegetables and weigh your proteins and keep them in their own containers the moment you get home from the grocery store. Because of this you can just grab the ingredients you require from the fridge or freezer whenever you are ready to cook and no chopping is needed. This process will take only around a half-hour, but it's time well spent because you will save more than twice that amount of time later. I use a unique kind of container for my HCG ingredients so that the whole family will know they are off limits.
Third, buy shortcuts. I don't want to peel garlic, and I use a great deal of it, so I pick some up already peeled, then I just use my garlic press or chop it up in the food processor. Perhaps you don't like to chop onions‚ grab a bag of frozen chopped onions!
By using these recommendations, it will be simple to get your HCG diet meals on the table quickly!
